Hello! Welcome to Sacramental Stitches... n Stones! My name is Kristy and I am the designer and creator of the handcrafted clothing, jewelry, and accessories that you will find here. I am the mother of a BeaUtiFuL nine year old daughter and an eXCiTing seven year old son! They have given me sooo much inspiration! I also get much inspiration from sOoOo many good tunes, mother earth, and from a passion to learn. I believe everyone has something to teach!

I started sewing at the age of 17 when my grandmother, who was a quilter, gave me my first sewing machine. Sacramental Stitches has been a dream of mine for many years now ~ to put my energy and love into my artwork.

As for the construction of my clothing, I prewash my fabric to be sure there is no color bleeding and then dry the fabric to keep the finished piece from shrinking after it gets to you. I use a four thread serger on all pieces so you can be sure these babies are meant to last!!! Other than my ~one of a kynd~ threads, I also create jewelry and other works of art and may feature them here from time to time. (Oil painting is another one of my passions!) In my jewelry, I focus on healing gemstones and wire wrapping using Sterling Silver. Also ~ I take custom orders. If there is a particular stone you would like send me a message ~ I can probably help yah out! I use 49 Strand Beadalon Wire on my jewelry which is flexible and holds up very well. I also use Sterling Silver findings.

Also, I now accept RME (Revolution Money Exchange) as an additional form of payment! It's very similar to PayPal, but without all those fees. Be sure to check it out as well. I will also accept checks, but will not ship items until the check has cleared.. so keep in mind when using this method of payment it may take a little longer to receive your items.
